This listing is for a J-head Mk.IV-B hotend with 0.5 mm nozzle and accepting 3mm filament.

We tried a number of different hotends until we found J-heads. They are the most reliable by far (in our experience) out of all we have tried and are the nozzles we sell with our assembled/calibrated printers.

J-Head hotends are light, have a smaller brass heating block than alternatives (allowing quicker times to reach required temperatures for printing, and greatly reduces 'ooze') and will be supplied with a heating resistor and a standard 100k EPCOS thermistor. The thermistor is listed as a standard option in Marlin/Sprinter, so no need to make your own temp tables, they're already there! Just select option 1 (Marlin firmware).

If you would like us to install the heating resistor (no extra charge) please make sure to comment (when paying through paypal) or email us, and we'll seal the resistor in with high temp silicone (red). The thermistor can be installed using kapton or PTFE tape following attaching wires to connect to your electronics which is better to do once the hotend is installed, but if you would like help with this please let us know.
