This is a listing for one Fulling Motor model FL42STH47-1206A  NEMA 17 (42 x 42 mm) high torque 1.8 degree stepper motor, ideal for the RepRap Prusa, Mendel90 and similar 3D printers, as well as CNC and robotics applications.

The holding torque is particularity important, especially for Extruder, X and Y axis. These motors are 4.4 kgcm (44Ncm) and we use them successfully on our printers, even at high speed.

 

We have sold hundreds of these motors over the past few months and are confident that they are the lowest-priced high-torque NEMA17 stepper motors on the UK market.


The motors are manufactured by one of China's leading hybrid stepper motor manufacturers, established in 2000 as a German-Italian-Chinese joint Venture:

The motors we are selling are the 6-wire (dual bipolar/unipolar) version of Model FL42STH47, which we have converted for use as standard 4-wire bipolar motors by removing the extra 2 wires (white, yellow), as shown in the wiring diagram below:


 



When used as 4-wire bipolar motors, the performance and torque output of the 6-wire 1206A motors is identical to the 4-wire 1684A motors, as given in the following extract from the Fulling Data Sheets:-

Dimensions and Cabling

Cable length 0.3m, supplied with 0.9m of loose colour-coded extension cable and heatshrink sleeving to make it up to a maximum 1.2m. Frame Size: Length = 47mm

Motors are carefully packaged, wrapped and boxed. We offer the following postal/shipping services

  • UK Economy by myHermes 48h+ courier, tracked and insured.
  • UK Expedited by Interparcel/TNT overnight courier, tracked and insured. at a flat rate of £10 up to 20 motors.
  • European Union - up to 5 motors (2kg, Air post limit) by Parcelforce International (fully tracked) where available, or Airmail International Signed For (partly tracked), depending on quantity ordered. 1 or 2 motors usually Royal Mail, 3, 4 or 5 usually Parcelforce.
  • European Union - more than 5 motors - please request a quote for Courier service (starting at £20 per parcel).
  • Rest of the World - up to 5 motors (2kg Air post limit) by Airmail International Signed For (partly tracked)
  • Rest of the World - more than 5 motors - please request a quote for Courier service (starting at £45 per parcel
