T2.5 timing belt 2000mm long, 6mm wide  - ideal for the RepRep Prusa Mendel i2 and i3 X and Y axis - plus 2 aluminium, 16 Tooth timing pulleys, with a 5mm bore and M4 grub screws. (Most replacement aluminium pulleys only have M3 grubscrews - very easy to strip the thread! M4 is much stronger). 

If you are currently using 8 Tooth T5 printed pulleys there is no configuration change required in firmware. The steps/mm setting is the same!

To quote from Josef Prusa's Blog post on iteration 2: 

I use T2.5 belts instead of T5 for a long time, and it affects the quality more significantly then any lm8uu would ever do. Now it's official suggestion, get GT2 or T2.5 belts and machined pulleys! Be professional!

We supply the belt as one length which is easily cut to the lengths required from the Prusa Build instructions. Only one x 2m length is needed, cut into two ~900mm for Prusa i2, or 2 x 1m for i3. We also sell belting by the metre and individual pulleys separately if you require different quantities
 

This belt is made from polyurethane, steel reinforced, extruded endless. Standard T Profile to DIN 7721 in metric pitch with trapezoidal toothform.

The pulleys are Aluminium with Zinc plated Steel Flanges. They are factory-drilled and reamed to 5mm +0 -0.02mm to match the standard shaft diameter for NEMA17 or NEMA14 motors used in most Repraps, and factory-drilled and tapped for M4 x 6mm grubscrews (supplied)
